Our first Call for Proposals resulted in an exceptionally rich and diverse range of submissions, spanning scholarly-artistic papers and projects that center on poetry, memoir, essay, painting, sculpture, installation, textile work, weaving, collage, digital prints, audiovisual and video work, generative platforms, and multimodal and ritual practices. Many submissions bring these creative and artistic methodologies into dialogue with apophatic approaches to ineffability, and several combine practice-based inquiry with academic research papers, literary criticism, or autoethnographic writing.
